​Industry Project: Hardy Amies goes to the Market

First manufacturing project for second year Menswear. We were given an external brief from Hardy Amies, Savile Row and asked to develop a collection of contemporary pieces, including accessories for a pop up shop at Dover Street Market, London.



My approach for this project was to create something tailored, but fun. I began my research by looking at Sir Hardy's early work and looking at the way he mixed fabrics and textures and wanted to recreate that in a hopefully fun sporty fashion.



Prince Harry became my muse, as Savile Row is the place where the Royals are dressed and I felt he was the "cool" Royal who would be best embody the "new" Hardy Amies man. Fun, Athletic, Hard Working but with a slight dash of rebel thrown in, just to keep you guessing.
